This year, the Catholic Ministries Appeal embraces the theme "Renewed by the Eucharist, Sent on Mission," a call to deepen our connection to Christ in the Eucharist and respond by serving others in love. The Eucharist is the source of our faith, where we are renewed by Christ’s presence and strengthened to go forth in His name.
Renewed by the Eucharist
At every Mass, we encounter Jesus in the Eucharist. This sacred moment nourishes not only our souls but also our purpose. Through the Eucharist, we receive the grace to continue Christ’s mission, allowing His love to transform our hearts and strengthen our resolve to serve.
When we receive the Body of Christ, we are reminded of His ultimate sacrifice for us. Just as Jesus gave Himself fully, we too are invited to give of ourselves in service to our brothers and sisters.
Sent on Mission
To be sent on a mission means to take what we receive in the Eucharist and bring it into the world. It means living our faith through acts of kindness, mercy, and charity. The Catholic Ministries Appeal makes this mission possible by supporting ministries that touch thousands of lives across our communities.
Your generosity to the Catholic Ministries Appeal helps:
* Feed the hungry through Catholic Charities and parish outreach food programs
* Support vocations by funding the education of seminarians
* Offer faith formation for children, youth, and adults
* Bring the Gospel to those in need through parish outreach programs
Every act of giving is a reflection of Christ’s love. When we support these ministries, we are living out the Eucharist—we are sent on a mission, becoming the hands and feet of Christ in our world.
Be Part of the Mission
This year, as we embrace the theme "Renewed by the Eucharist, Sent on Mission," let us reflect on how we can respond to Christ’s call. Whether through prayer, acts of service, or supporting the Catholic Ministries Appeal, we all have a role to play in spreading the love of Christ.
May we always be renewed by the Eucharist and strengthened to go forth in mission, knowing that our faith is alive when it is shared.
