Holy Week is a sacred time of the year and an opportunity to deepen our understanding of Jesus's gift. It begins with Palm Sunday, when we read about Jesus arriving in Jerusalem. The crowds welcome him by waving palm branches. This moment of joy sparks the beginning of a week filled with profound moments of reflection.

Holy Week invites us to draw closer to Christ and contemplate the profound depth of His love for humanity.

On Holy Thursday, or "Maundy Thursday," we reflect on the Last Supper, where Jesus offered His body and blood for our salvation. He also washed His disciples' feet, reminding us of humility and selfless service. Holy Thursday is a time to look inward and examine how we are called to serve others.

Good Friday is the heart of Holy Week. The Passion of Christ. Jesus endured unimaginable pain and humiliation. Through His sacrifice, we are offered the gift of eternal life. Good Friday is a day to meditate on the suffering Jesus endured for us. We remember the depth of love God has for us.

Holy Saturday is a day of waiting and anticipation. It is a gentle reminder that even in the darkest moments, God is at work preparing something miraculous.

Finally, Easter Sunday. Christ's victory over death. The Resurrection. We are given hope of eternal life and are assured that God's promises are true.

Each day of Holy Week is an opportunity to live out the lessons of love, humility, sacrifice, and joy.
